Rapidly changing landscape and a trek that offers pretty much everything- from the old world experience of rural Himalayan villages to dense forests, a beautiful alpine lake in the middle of those forests that also has mythological significance. You will trek for 4-5 hours a day in gradual, sometimes steep terrain. Temperature at camp can get cold at night. If you want snow then December, March and early April are ideal. September & October are when it is most green. Is it suitable for a beginner? Yes. We would recommend that you get into a fitness routine in the lead up. Nothing significant, but walking or playing a sport regularly will help a lot. Challenges you will face: Altitude and terrain means that you will get tired, sleeping in tents takes a little getting used to if you haven't before. It does get cold at night but all these challenges can be safely dealt with given the right attitude and precautions and of course, our expertise and guidance is with you at every step for an ideal experience. Suitable for children/elderly and/or families? Yes, but with added precautions, happy to discuss these with you. A trek with some of the most beautiful meadows that we have ever come across in the Himalayas. Dense forests and an excellent vantage point are some of the other characteristics of this trek. You get a 180 degree view of many of the prominent mountains in the region. Many of which are over 20,000 ft in height.

Probably the most approachable and easily accessible full-fledged trek in the Himalayas. A jungle trek that takes you into the wilderness and mountains in no time. Takes you through some thick forests and the first views of the greater Himalayan ranges. One of the most important glacial regions in the world which is also home to many of the most beautiful mountains and climbing routes in the Himalayas, and in Hindu mythology this region is considered to be the center of the universe!
On this trek you will be trekking along the river Bhagirathi to its source, encounter mostly glacial terrain and meadows. Close up to Mt Shivling, Mt Bhagirathi 2, Mt Meru to name a few. Your will be trekking for, 4-6 hours a day in gradual to steep terrain, tricky between Gaumukh and Tapovan. You will be camping in moderate to cold temperatures. Recommended for: Its beauty. Therefore anyone who has the fitness and endurance, must do this someday in their life Challenges: Tricky terrain, long distances, altitude for which we will need to monitor you Suitable for children and/or families? On this trek you will see prominent mountains from close, cross glaciers and moraines, meadows and river Beas. You will be camping in moderate to cold temperatures. In Spiti you will find dry and arid terrain much like Ladakh, but with few people and more rawness. apart from landscape the local cultures are also beautiful, it has beautiful monastries, the highest village in the world and also the highest post office in the world. You can do a few short day hikes with cultural interaction, nights at local hotels/home-stays. High altitude can be a challenge Recommended for: If you want to be in the wilderness and the rugged landscape but do not want to camp and prefer staying in hotels or home stays. Also if you want to do some treks but mostly single day treks that are not too tiring. Mt Shetidhar

Get a first taste of glaciers and high altitude, snow boots and ice-axes, climbing ropes and crampons in this short Himalayan expedition.
During this expedition you will be trekking and climbing in permanent snow with use of technical mountaineering equipment that we give you training in, touching high altitude(18,000 ft approx), camping in cold temperatures, 3-4 hours of trekking a day. Gradual till base camp but steep after, summit push is about 7-8 hours of climbing. High altitude comes with its challenges Recommended for: The adventurous types who are looking for a challenge. Those with no prior trekking or climbing experience can do this but you need to be fit and willing to exert.
