Our Story
We welcome you to My Himalayan Adventure and it’s lovely to see you here!
The Himalayas are a place of love and they become a part of you once you go there. Ask us, we have been doing this for over 30 years and this is the only thing that we have ever wanted to do. Seeing that tired but elated smile on your face looking at the majestic mountains after a day of trekking, that is what makes us happiest. Our love for the Himalayas and for introducing people like you to the Himalayas keeps growing. You will find very few others as passionate about the Himalayas as the My Himalayan Adventure team, as knowledgeable, and with such a track record- a legacy of over 30 years with numerous records and some of the biggest names in Indian Adventure forming this team. You can read more about the team here. Keep scrolling for photo stories and some of the recommended experiences. Our communication lines are always open and we'll be glad to guide on any and everything Himalayas, we'll also be happy to just have a chat. Cheers! |

Himalayan treks & experiences
Spiti

Different terrains, different colors and cultures and a different surprise at every turn, a raw and rugged place that we like to call "the beginning of nowhere"
In Spiti you will find dry and arid terrain much like Ladakh, but with few people and more rawness. apart from landscape the local cultures are also beautiful, it has beautiful monastries, the highest village in the world and also the highest post office in the world. You can do a few short day hikes with cultural interaction, nights at local hotels/home-stays. High altitude can be a challenge Recommended for: If you want to be in the wilderness and the rugged landscape but do not want to camp and prefer staying in hotels or home stays. Also if you want to do some treks but mostly single day treks that are not too tiring. Challenges: Altitude Suitable for children/families/beginners: Yes, but the plan will need to be modified looking at the altitude. More details on this in the trek page. Speak to us for advice on this Number of days: We recommend between 5-6 days |
Everest Base Camp

The trek on everyone's bucket list which also happens to be one of the highest treks in the Himalayas. Glaciers, landscape and mountains which feel like they are at another level in their scale and magnitude
During this expedition you will find glaciers, very close to some of the world's highest mountains in the world, 4-6 hours of trekking a day, often in steep terrain and high altitude, nights in local lodges. High altitude comes with its challenges Recommended for: Experienced trekkers who want to take their passion to the next level by touching high altitude. Beginners can do this but you need to be fit. We would recommend you do some short treks in the lead up. Challenges you will face: Altitude is always a concern and we will need to constantly monitor you for symptoms of high altitude sickness, occasionally, we have asked people to stay back or go down for their own safety and welfare if they are not coping well. Conditions can be testing and those looking for something relaxing should look at other recommendations Suitable for children/families/beginners: As a beginner you can do this but you should be fit, we do not recommend this for small children. More details on this in the trek page Number of days: We recommend between 14-15 days |
